TCU & gearbox calibration

Make the transmission work with the engine, not against it.

A strong engine file can expose the limits of a standard transmission strategy. Supported TCU calibration aligns torque limits, shift behaviour and driver request with the vehicle’s real specification.

One drivetrain

The engine and gearbox share the same torque problem.

Modern automatic, dual-clutch and robotised transmissions have their own control unit, torque model, limiters and shift logic. Remapping only the engine can leave performance constrained or create poor coordination.

BLAG evaluates the TCU request together with the engine calibration and the mechanical specification. The result should feel intentional: the right gear, the right torque request and predictable behaviour in the selected driving mode.

TCU jobs depend on exact hardware, software and vehicle information. A generic model name is not enough.
