Supplier and scope
These terms apply to the website and professional ECU file services supplied by BLAG Tuning, trading as BLAG ECU Solutions, VAT ES34275397S, Pol. Empresarial Pereiro de Aguiar 24-2, 32710 Ourense, Spain.
The file service is intended for workshops, tuners, dealers and other users capable of safely reading, writing, diagnosing and validating ECU software. If mandatory consumer law applies to a particular customer, these terms do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Accounts, credits and orders
- Account information must be accurate and credentials must not be shared.
- Each uploaded job must identify the correct vehicle or machine, ECU, HW/SW, reading method and requested service.
- Prices or credit requirements shown in the portal apply to the selected scope unless additional complexity is agreed.
- An order is accepted when BLAG confirms or begins the requested technical work. A request may be declined if the file, ECU, intended use or information is unsuitable.
- Delivery estimates are estimates unless BLAG expressly agrees a fixed deadline in writing.
Customer responsibilities
The customer must:
- Have authority to read, modify and write the submitted ECU or TCU.
- Keep an untouched original backup and use a suitable professional tool, stable power supply and correct write procedure.
- Disclose all relevant hardware, previous software modifications, fuel, transmission and intended use.
- Confirm the engine, vehicle or machine is mechanically sound and resolve existing faults not caused by calibration.
- Read delivery notes, carry out required resets and perform appropriate diagnostics, logging, dyno or load validation.
- Stop testing if temperatures, pressure, lambda, knock, smoke, DTCs or behaviour indicate a risk.
BLAG is not responsible for problems caused by incorrect identification, incomplete information, a corrupt or previously modified original, unsuitable tools, interrupted writing, mechanical defects or use outside the agreed scope.
Legal and permitted use
The customer is responsible for ensuring that every modification, vehicle and final use complies with applicable emissions, roadworthiness, registration, insurance, competition, workplace and environmental law.
Emissions-system or special-function solutions are supplied only for uses that are lawful in the relevant jurisdiction, such as eligible off-road, motorsport, research or export contexts. The customer must not request or use a file to defeat legal road-use obligations.
BLAG may refuse work where the declared purpose is unclear, unlawful or creates an unacceptable safety or compliance risk.
Delivery, revisions and validation
The delivered file is developed for the ECU data, hardware and objective stated in the job. It must not be assumed suitable for another vehicle, ECU software version or hardware configuration.
Support or revision requests must remain in the relevant portal job and include exact DTCs, logs, test conditions and the file actually written. A changed brief, undisclosed modification or different vehicle may be treated as a new order.
A calibration file does not replace professional validation. Peak power, torque, economy, emissions, temperature or turnaround results are not guaranteed unless expressly stated for the specific job and test method.
Intellectual property and licence
Subject to full payment, the customer receives a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the delivered calibration for the vehicle, machine or ECU identified in the order. Unless separately agreed, the customer may not resell, publish, reverse engineer, distribute or reuse the file as a database product.
Customer ownership of the original file or vehicle does not transfer BLAG’s calibration methods, know-how, notes, templates or other service materials.
Liability and service limits
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that rule, BLAG is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profit, downtime or claims arising from use outside the agreed scope, and total liability relating to a job will not exceed the amount paid for that job.
The website and portal may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, security or events outside reasonable control. BLAG will take reasonable steps to restore service but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Cancellation, refunds and suspension
Because ECU files are customised digital services, cancellation may no longer be possible once technical work has begun. Unused portal credits, refunds and corrections are handled according to the portal terms, payment method and mandatory law.
BLAG may suspend an account for non-payment, abusive conduct, credential sharing, unlawful requests, security risk or material breach of these terms.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For professional customers, the courts of Ourense, Spain, will have jurisdiction where legally permitted. Mandatory consumer or jurisdiction rules remain unaffected.
